WE ARE PART OF THE SUSTAINABILITY LIFECYCLE. Laxsjönns camping and outdoor center/ Dalslands Aktiviteter is a relatively small company, but we still realise the importance in taking our respeonsibility for the environment and nature which is a great part and prerequisite for our business. Even though our environmental impact is comparably small, we would like to set an example. That is why we are now at the beginning of an exciting environmental work within the company.

Being embedded in the breathtaking landscape of Dalsland, we cherish the natural beauty that surrounds us, and we strive to protect it for both present and future generations.
Examples of what we do at Laxsjön's camping and outdoor center: - Employs local labor as much as possible. - Strives to work with as broad a client base as possible to extend seasons and provide more sustainable employment. - Creates knowledge about water and nature. - Seek good opportunities to be able to recycle and sort waste easily within and on the site. - Cooperate as much as possible with local companies/organizations that take responsibility for their environmental work. - We partially utilize the power of renewable energy sources and let guests become aware of their temporary electricity and water consumption. Older fixtures at the facility are being replaced with LED lighting and our hot water is heated by solar panels.
